How to stretch
- stretch after a run when muscles are warm
- move into a stretch slowly
- hold the stretch for at least 45 seconds
- maintain a steady breathing pattern
- stretch only to the point mild discomfort
Note: remember to do 2 or 3 different stretches for approximately 5 minutes after every run
